Gold Medal Park - Minneapolis

The Carlyle Tower

I like to visit Medal Park during the summer just to hang around in the grass. I didn't get down there as much this year as I would have liked. That feels like most things that I plan out in the spring and eventually don't get to by the end of summer.

This is one of my favorite sitting spots in the city. There is a good view of the Mississippi River on one side and downtown Minneapolis on the other. It's a beautiful park that used to be a parking lot.
